This is my blog + biz friend, Ashleigh Sutlive, who blogs at 21st and Main. I could go on and on about how incredible she is but I’ll spare you all the girly sappy stuff. Ashleigh is so dedicated to her fashion blog it’s crazy. Before her rebrand to 21st and Main she was known for being the writer behind “Fashionably, Ashleigh.” Instead of being solely focused on fashion like she used to be, Ashleigh has expanded to lifestyle, recipes, beauty, diy, and more! Goodness her posts are put together so well so feel free to stalk away because I left a link to her site at the bottom of this post. I always love reading her tips about all these areas. She launched her new site near the beginning of January so I am a little late in posting this but I wanted to space out my client work that way I didn’t just dump a bunch of designs all at once.
We had so much fun working on this together and actually had this rebrand planned for two to three months before it actually happened. The design process was an adventure going through so many different ideas + options but the adventure was fun!
When I first went into this project, I had in mind a design that was the complete opposite of this. Of course being me I had an extremely feminine font picked out + lots of ideas similar to this but when I saw all the inspiration images she was sending me I knew what I had in mind was not the right thing for Ashleigh. She stressed something different, something that was unique! So I mixed three unique fonts together creating this header for her blog which we both loved after some minor tweaking!
Make sure to visit her site and grab the free guide to fashion blog photography, which she gladly hands over once you subscribe to her mailing list! She is a mastermind at fashion photography and takes all the images you see on her blog by herself, even the pictures of her posing with new outfits! When I was a fashion blogger, I always had to depend on a photographer’s schedule or getting a photo shoot in super quick between work hours but Ashleigh found a fool proof system of getting rid of this worry.
