I met Rachel through a linkup when I was a fashion blogger, she let me co-host with her around six months ago and we hit it off! Since then, we have kept up with each other. Rachel decided to invest in a blog design + asked me to do it, I was so excited! The whole design process for her blog took a total of three days because everything moved along so quickly. She stressed blush and gold for her blog, so I incorporated these colors into her blog header and throughout her blog design. I had so much fun working with her when it came down to searching Pinterest together for inspiration, choosing a blog layout that fit her site well, and going through the logo mockup tweaks.
Too much fun! Garay Treasures is such an incredible blog and has a strong community of people that flock to her posts. She recently went on a “blog fast” for the month of January in order to keep her focus on God which I thought was very inspiring! I know too many bloggers that dive head first into the blogging world and burn out too quickly because of all the work. Rachel is such a fantastic example of maintaining balance with her blog & family. This can be such a fine line at times but, Rachel, you rock it!
Bloggers are so much fun to work with because I connect with them on a major level. With my blogging background since 2011 I feel like I identify with bloggers the most at this point in my life. Running a blog can be extremely exhausting but also extremely rewarding at the same time. And of course so beyond worth it on so many levels.
